Privacy Notice
What we collect when you contact us, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. Last updated August 11, 2026.
This Privacy Notice for Masters Laundry Equipment LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and share (“process”) your personal information when you visit our website or contact us about equipment, service, parts, financing, or a laundromat project.
Reading this notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use this website. If you have questions, email us at info@masterslaundry.com.
The short version
We collect what you type into a form — usually your name, email, phone number and a description of what you need — and we use it to answer you. We do not use cookies, we do not run analytics, and we have never sold or shared anyone’s information. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
1. What information do we collect?
In short: We collect the personal information you give us when you contact us.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you submit one of the enquiry forms on this website, or when you email or call us. The information we collect depends on which form you use, and may include:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number;
- your business name, job title, town or service area, where a form asks for them; and
- whatever you choose to write in the message or details field — typically the equipment you are asking about, the make and model of a machine, or a description of a fault.
Please do not send us sensitive information. We do not ask for and do not want financial account numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or any of the categories a privacy law would treat as sensitive. If you send them anyway, we will delete them.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests to the site — the IP address the request came from, the page requested, and the time. These are kept for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything you send us through a form.
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you should tell us if it changes.
2. How do we process your information?
In short: To answer you, to do the work you have asked us about, and for security.
- To respond to your enquiry. This is the whole reason the forms exist. What you send goes to our team and we use it to reply to you.
- To deliver the services you ask for. Quoting equipment, arranging a site visit, dispatching a technician, sourcing a part, or introducing you to a financing partner.
- To keep a record of the work. Correspondence about a project, a machine, or a service call is kept so the next person who picks it up knows what happened.
- To keep the site secure. Detecting and preventing abuse of the enquiry forms.
- To comply with the law, where we are required to.
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us a question.
3. What legal bases do we rely on?
In short: We process your information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so.
We serve New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, so most people reading this are covered by United States law rather than by European law. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation requires us to explain our legal bases, which are:
- Consent. You chose to send us an enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete it.
- Performance of a contract. Where we are quoting, supplying, or servicing equipment for you.
- Legitimate interests. Keeping our site secure and keeping records of the work we have done.
- Legal obligations. Where we must keep or disclose information to comply with the law.
4. When and with whom do we share your information?
In short: With two service providers that make the website and its forms work, and with nobody else.
We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not intend to. We do not disclose it for advertising, for targeted advertising, or for anyone else’s marketing.
Running a website means using a small number of service providers who necessarily handle the data passing through it. Ours are:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this website and runs the function that receives form submissions. Vercel handles the request and keeps the server logs described above.
- Resend — delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email. Your name, contact details and message pass through Resend in order to reach us.
- Unsplash — two photographs on our equipment page are currently served from Unsplash’s servers, which means your browser requests them directly and Unsplash can see your IP address. No other page loads anything from a third party.
We may also share your information if the business is sold, merged, or transferred, in which case it would pass to the new owner along with the rest of the business records.
5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?
In short: No.
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. There are no tracking pixels, no web beacons, no advertising tags, and no session or local storage. We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot follow you to other websites because we have nothing in place that would let us.
This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly rather than burying: there is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, we will update this notice and the date at the top of it before it does.
6. How long do we keep your information?
In short: As long as we need it to serve you and to keep a record of the work.
An enquiry arrives as an email and stays in our inbox. We keep it for as long as it is useful — while we are answering you, while a project or service call is open, and afterwards as a record of what was supplied and when, which matters for warranty and parts. We also keep what we must for tax and accounting purposes.
When we no longer have a reason to keep your information, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. How do we keep your information safe?
In short: With reasonable technical and organisational measures, and by collecting as little as possible.
The site is served over HTTPS and carries a content security policy that prevents it from loading or sending anything to an unexpected destination. Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection to our own endpoint and are delivered by email. Access to the inbox is limited to the people who need it.
The strongest protection we offer is that we collect very little in the first place. There is no account to be breached, no database of visitors, and no behavioural profile, because none of those exist.
That said, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We cannot promise that an unauthorised third party will never defeat our security. Sending information to us is at your own risk, and you should only do so from a device and network you trust.
8. Do we collect information from minors?
In short: No, and we do not market to them.
We do not knowingly collect information from or market to children under 18. This is a commercial laundry equipment business; our customers are businesses. By using this website you represent that you are at least 18. If we learn that we hold information from someone under 18, we will delete it. If you believe we have, email info@masterslaundry.com.
9. What are your privacy rights?
In short: You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to correct inaccuracies, to request its deletion, and to withdraw consent to our processing it. In some regions you may also have the right to object to processing or to request that it be restricted.
To exercise any of these, email info@masterslaundry.com or use our contact form. We will need to verify who you are before we act, which usually means replying from the address you originally contacted us on. We will respond in line with the applicable law.
Withdrawing consent. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of anything we did before you withdrew it.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland and you believe we have handled your information unlawfully, you may complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, and we will investigate and explain the outcome.
10. Controls for do-not-track features
Most browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting. No uniform standard for recognising DNT signals has been agreed, so we do not respond to them. California law requires us to say so.
In practice this makes no difference here: DNT exists to stop tracking, and we do not track. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for the same reason — there is nothing for them to switch off, but if one arrives we treat it as a valid opt-out.
11. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?
In short: Yes, if you live in one of the states with a privacy law. Those rights are listed below.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold, to correct it, to obtain a copy of it, or to have it deleted.

California “Shine the Light”. California residents may request, once a year and free of charge, details of any personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We have disclosed none.
12. Do we make updates to this notice?
Yes. We will update this notice as necessary to stay accurate and compliant. The revised version will carry a new date at the top. Where the change is material we will make it prominent rather than quiet.
